“The Last of Us Part II is officially the most awarded game in history. The Last of Us Part II has currently amassed 261 Game of the Year awards, narrowly surpassing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunts’ 260 awards to become the most awarded video game of all time. #TheLastofUsPartII”

Within just three days of its release the game achieved sales of more than four million copies, becoming the fastest selling exclusive Playstation game to date.

It’s no surprise of its impressive achievement with its breathtaking graphics, award winning performances and captivating gameplay. Despite the initial backlash and controversy surrounding particular characters and undertaken gameplay around release, the performance provided by Naughty Dog was ultimately well deserved.
